The Candy In Your Bag

I like Fall a lot. I love the crisp air, sweaters and well, the aroma. But it's also the time my phone rings non-stop about candy. I got my start in the candy industry but now I work with many types of products from health bars to bubbly beverages. But in October things are crazy candy centric. This year I have had more candy conversations than ever. James Ellis wrote a piece about Halloween candy that's popping up everywhere. Other outlets are reporting on companies like Blommer Chocolate and about the demise of NECCO known as America's original candy company. There's also a big piece brewing in the New York Times. So when the wind gently rustles through those leaf bare trees all I can say is.... hold on to your candy bag!
