Meet Eva Chopper - My Favorite New (Old!) Kitchen Gadget

Eva is something new to to me but something old. I think she's from the 1960s which makes her 57 years young. Made in Denmark and never used she is the OG Microplane. She chops like crazy and the directions recommended her for parmesan cheese, nutmeg, and herbs. She is also meant to be on the table because "the delicate aroma and vitamin content can only be retained by immediate use after chopping." She stands out for her beautiful cylinder shape and the stunning purple color. Eva is still around today as a Danish kitchenware company but dates from 1913. Their big breakthrough in the 1950s was a bread and meat slicer that today is a considered classic. Danes age well...Eva's on the table.
